Waitrose Distribution Centre - Bracknell. April 2009
When Waitrose needed more warehousing at their main distribution centre three existing office buildings were earmarked for demolition to make way!!  The existing staff and the entire contents of these buildings were then systematically relocated to vacant premises nearby.

Three two storey office buildings were being demolished to make way for new warehousing on the Waitrose site at Bracknell, having carried out numerous projects in these buildings over the years we knew the buildings intimately, but none the less the relocation of the contents of these would prove a challenge logistically.  Plans were formulated to start moving the individual teams from different buildings into three floors of an existing building leased from close neighbours on the Southern Industrial Area.

All the office moves had to take place with the minimum of disruption to Waitrose and of course the Staff this meant long weekends for CDS and its team.  Over three consecutive weekends 250 staff and 16 different Departments were relocated, at the same time new Offices, Meeting Rooms and Catering facilities were created and the building was readied for its new occupants.  The moves were smooth, everybody was relocated and it was business as usual.
