“We loved what you did at Liverpool Road and we want this to be even better”. This is what Slough Community Leisure said to us when it came to re-designing the Gymnasium at Langley. It was agreed that the colours of the floor finishes used previously at Liverpool Road and partially in the Reception here must remain a constant. As for the wall colours these must be as light variation from within the same palettes as the other projects. We needed the WOW factor and decided to stick with the circular theme but with a twist, here the circular rings were suspended and positioned to allow the natural light from the existing windows to flood through them.

The two colour carpet reflected these “rings” and added interest to the highlight of the Gym the new “HumanSport” equipment. The existing wall between the main gym and the freeweights area was revamped and circles of varying size and design were added. The Spinning Room was totally refurbished and fully glazed double sliding doors added a more airy feel to this previously badly litroom. A new reduced size Reception desk, an Information wall and increased lighting throughout complemented by new graphics and vinyl’s made the transformation complete.
