Welcome to the news page of CDS Construction Services Ltd. below are a few highlights of the last 12 months and a brief glimpse into the future with up and coming projects.
January/ February 2010
The start of this year sees us back at the Waitrose Distribution Centre in Bracknell carrying out alterations on the newest acquisition on the estate culminating in a large office move over three weekends. We are also refurbishing the Food Technology Laboratories in one of the Warehouses.
December 2009
Final drawings and specifications were agreed and we were on site with two refurbishment projects in Estate Agencies the first we have been involved in for nearly two years, this could be the start of the "green shoots" people are talking about, lets hope so!!!
This busy month saw us also carrying out the first of hopefully many refurbishment projects with Nexus Community and their designers Revolution DC. This project was the £170,000.00 refurbishment of the Male and Female Changing Rooms and the Pool Area. Click here to read more.
October 2009
On site fit outs of a new outlet for Age Concern in Maidenhead, new office facilities for a national Road Marking Company and the relocation of warehouse and office facilities for Waitrose at their Bracknell Distribution Centre.
September 2009
Highlights this month were the refurbishment of a small Dental practice in Kent and a Careers Office for the RAF in Reading.
August 2009
3D Fly through. This was the first time we had ever been involved with something like this, the team at Slough Community Leisure wanted to market the Gym we were about to refurbish to increase membership and asked us if we could help, yes was the answer and the wizards at Dhub produced this amazing fly through.

Langley Leisure Centre - Phase Two. Following on from the highly successful refurbishment of the Main Reception here in December 2008, the Gym underwent its very own facelift. A radical and inspiring new look was required and the results were amazing. Download the case study here
 
June/July 2009
The design and fit out of a retail unit in the Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth for an established milkshake vendor Happy Days. Designs and drawings have been submitted to another London Borough for their third unit and this will hopefully be up and running in time for the Christmas shoppers enjoy a lovely shake!!
April 2009
Liverpool Road - New Gymnasium. This was the third project for Slough Community Leisure which saw the transformation of an empty two storey warehouse and office facility into a fully functioning state of the art Gymnasium.

Waitrose Distribution Centre - Bracknell. When Waitrose needed more warehousing at their main distribution centre three existing office buildings were earmarked for demolition to make way!! The existing staff and the entire contents of these buildings were then systematically relocated to vacant premises nearby. Click here to read more

Absolute Karting. When Slough Community Leisure decided to enter the world of indoor karting they needed our expert advice and skills to convert two empty factory units into fit for purpose facilities for go-kart racing.

FSC audit completed for the seventh consecutive year
December 2008
Langley Leisure Centre. Back in early August we took a call from a potential new customer, having viewed this website they liked what they saw and we were invited to meet at their existing leisure centre and come up with a scheme for its refurbishment. Click here to read more

The British Florist Association approached our very own National Association of Shopfitters in a bid to try and encourage their members to brighten up their shops in order to generate more business. Click here to read more

Pudding Lingerie in Reading was awarded 'Best Newcomer' at a Gala Ceremony Evening in London on 27th July played host to the second edition of Stars: Underlines Best Shop Awards. This Award Ceremony was held as recognition of the best independent and specialist shops in the underwear, swimwear and legwear clothing sectors.
